CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Grades K-12 meet Sept. - May.

Youth Group (grades 7th-12th) meets each 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the church for fellowship, fun, and exploration of Christian spirituality through Bible study, Worship participation, and service projects.  The group also meets the last Sunday of each month for Faith & Film at 6:00 p.m. at the Manse.

 

Children’s Church School (grades K-6th) meets Sunday mornings, in the basement classrooms, following “Time with Children”. A form of the Workshop Rotation with Group Publisher’s Hands-0n Bible curriculum is currently in use. Just as Jesus taught his most powerful lessons, using simple, everyday objects — fish, coins, sheep, lilies, bread - we teach our youngsters the Word of God using “hands-on”.

 

K.I.D.S. Club (Kids In Devotion & Song) for children in grades K-6th meets each Tuesday after school 2:00-4:00 p.m.  All of our community children are welcome. The Christ-centered, fun-filled curriculum features Bible study, art, games, drama, music and snacks. Call the church office to register.

 

Acolytes – Children in 2nd thru 6th grades are encouraged to become acolytes.

 

Vacation Bible School is held the third week of August each year.

Children grades K-6th are welcome to join in the fun and learning.

Teens 7th-12th are always needed to lead groups around and assist in classes.

 

Adult Study, offered throughout the year, is open to all members of the community.
